Are You Ready? The Final Week Before Race-2-Ride Launches
Mar 22, 2026Everything You Need to Know Before Enrolment Opens
In six days, Race-2-Ride opens enrolment.
For eleven weeks, we've talked about the challenges of OTT retraining, the gaps in current support systems, and why going it alone is so much harder than it needs to be. We've covered everything from reading stress signals to building confidence, from understanding racing reflexes to creating forward movement without anxiety.
Now we're at the final countdown. And I want to make sure you're ready.
What's Actually Happening on March 30th
At 10:00 AM Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Monday, March 30th, 2026, the Race-2-Ride enrolment page goes live at race-2-ride.com.
This isn't a soft launch or a "coming soon" placeholder. This is full enrollment with immediate access. Pay, log in, and start using the platform within minutes.
Founder member pricing is only available for the duration of the pilot study: After that, pricing increases permanently, and founder bonuses disappear.
What You Get the Moment You Enrol
Let me be very specific about what happens when you click "enrol" on launch day:
Immediate access to the complete training library: All 12 modules and 50+ lessons are available instantly. Foundation, Development, and Advanced phases. Every video, every written guide, every assessment framework.
Community hub access: The forums are already active, with beta members testing the platform. You'll join a community that supports each other, shares wins, and solves problems together. Post your introduction, ask your first question, and start connecting immediately.
First weekly live Q&A scheduled: The inaugural session is set for next week - Saturday 4th April at 8am AEST (Brisbane). You'll be able to click to enter the meeting right from inside your training. Bring your questions, your challenges, and your horse's specific behaviours. I'll be there to answer your questions.
Downloadable resources library: Every PDF, worksheet, assessment tool, and written guide is available for download. Also, all video lessons are marked as a 🐴 - you can take me to the barn, or a 📚 - you can watch me on the sofa.
This is everything you've been waiting for - available the moment you enrol.
The Founder Member Difference
I want to be transparent about what founder pricing actually means and why it matters.
Standard pricing (after the pilot program) will be $997 AUD for lifetime access and available to horses on registration. This is still excellent value compared to alternatives - training sessions at $100-150 each, short online courses at $300-600 with limited access, specialist clinics at $200-500 per day.
Founder pricing is $197 AUD - a $800 discount.
But it's not just about the price reduction. Founder members also receive:
Founding member badge and priority support: Your profile will permanently show you as a founding member, and your posts in the community receive priority attention from moderators and experts. This recognises that you believed in Race-2-Ride from the beginning and helped build this community.
Lifetime price lock guarantee: If Race-2-Ride ever moves to a subscription model in the future (we have no plans to, but circumstances can change over decades), founder members maintain their lifetime access at no additional cost. Your $197 payment covers you forever, period.
Early access to new modules: When we release new training content, and we will, regularly, based on YOUR requests and emerging research, founder members see it first, before it's released to the general membership.
What the Past Eleven Weeks Have Built Toward
Looking back at everything we've covered, you might see a pattern:
Weeks 1-4 laid the foundation - understanding the challenges of OTT retraining, recognising what makes these horses unique, and building the basic skills needed for safety and settlement.
Weeks 5-8 dove into practical application - groundwork that transfers to the saddle, differentiating sensitivity from anxiety, reading stress signals, and creating forward movement without panic. This is where systematic training separates from random tips.
Weeks 9-11 shifted to the bigger picture - what thriving actually looks like, the systemic gaps that leave horses unsupported, and why attempting this alone is unnecessarily difficult.
Every single topic we've covered has a corresponding module in Race-2-Ride. This wasn't random content - it was a preview of what you're about to access.
The mounting block anxiety we discussed in Week 3? There's a complete progressive training plan in the Building Confidence section of the training.
The stress signals from Week 7? An entire module dedicated to recognition, response protocols, and prevention strategies.
The "hot horse" myth from Week 6? Detailed assessment frameworks and differentiated training approaches in the sensitivity vs. anxiety understanding.
You've been learning the "what" and "why" for eleven weeks. Race-2-Ride gives you the "how" with step-by-step progressions, video demonstrations, and expert troubleshooting.
Addressing the Final Hesitations
After eleven weeks of these posts, I know some of you are still hesitating. Let me address what might be holding you back:
"I'm not sure I'll actually use it." Fair concern. Here's the thing: Race-2-Ride isn't designed like traditional courses where you start at module one and work through sequentially. You can jump in and investigate the issue you're having today. Plateau at year two? Post in the community. Race-2-Ride is a resource you return to repeatedly, not necessarily a course you "complete."
"My horse is already years post-track - is this still relevant?" Absolutely. The modules address challenges that arise at every stage. Your established OTT develops new anxiety about something? The stress management modules apply. Are you ready to compete? There's a new set of challenges we discuss in the training. You need to rehome due to life changes? The passport ensures the next owner has access to the training. Race-2-Ride supports horses at every phase of their post-racing life.
"What if I need to ask questions about my specific situation?" That's exactly what the weekly live Q&A sessions are for, plus the community forum where you can post detailed questions anytime. You're encouraged to join training challenges and post a video of your results - join in and have some fun. The modules provide systematic training, and the community provides personalised guidance for your unique situation.
"I'm in [UK/USA/Canada/NZ], will this work for me?" Training principles are universal - horse behaviour doesn't change based on geography. The only Australia-specific content is some resource recommendations (veterinarians, saddle fitters, etc.). Everything else applies globally. We already have beta members from multiple countries.
"$197 still feels like a lot for something digital." Let me reframe this: What will you spend on training sessions, equipment trials, online courses, and advice while figuring this out through trial and error? Most OTT owners spend $2,000- $ 5,000 in their first year alone on inefficient approaches. Race-2-Ride costs $197 once and prevents most of that wasteful spending.
Are You Ready?
Six days from now, you'll need to make a decision.
Not whether you want to support your OTT, you clearly do, or you wouldn't have read this far.
Not whether you value evidence-based training, your engagement with this content shows you understand its importance.
The decision is: Will you invest in systematic support, or will you continue trying to piece it together alone?
Because here's what I know after thirty years retraining over a thousand OTTs: The horses who thrive have owners who have had support. The horses that cycle through homes have owners who struggled alone.
It's not about capability; many solo retrainers are incredibly skilled and dedicated. It's about access to systematic methods, expert troubleshooting, and a community that understands.
You don't have to do this alone anymore.
In six days, that option becomes available. Lifetime support for your OTT. Evidence-based training. Community who gets it. Expert guidance when you're stuck.
March 30th at 10:00 AM AEST.
Be ready.
Set an alarm if you're in a different time zone. Mark your calendar. Make sure you know where to go (race-2-ride.com/).
Life gets busy. Jump in and secure your Founder Membership pricing.
Final Thoughts
This isn't just about training programs or online courses. This is about closing a systemic welfare gap that's been invisible for too long.
When you enrol in Race-2-Ride, you're not just getting support for your own horse - you're participating in infrastructure that helps thousands of horses you'll never meet. You're part of ensuring that OTTs receive lifetime support, not just first-year help. You're contributing to a system where horses don't fall through the gaps when ownership changes.
This is bigger than individual partnerships. This is changing welfare outcomes at scale.
And it starts in six days.
Are you ready?
I am.
See you on March 30th.
